1808 Club East Side Austin
Year Long Disaster rolled in and out of SXSW playing three shows all with great bands and we had a killer time. Two of the shows were at Red 7…one inside on Friday night and one outside on Saturday afternoon as part of the High Times Doobie awards….Blistering sound was had with the help of Frankie Fingers. Have to say that the show at 1808 on Austin’s eastside was the most interesting of the 3. We finally got to play with fellow Angelino’s Night Horse and The Warlocks….enjoyed that and rested our feet and shot pool, no ID’s were checked so our under age fans could get in and though our friends that live in Austin were scared to set foot in the place we had a magical show. Thanks to LA Record, Tee Pee Records, High Times and Volcom!
Due to some scheduling conflicts (I’m looking at you, 3EB), Year Long Disaster have had to move around some shows down in Austin at SXSW. It has actually worked in the band’s favor, as they are playing some pretty rocking shows.
