Consisting of guitarist-singer Daniel Davies (the son of Kinks guitarist Dave Davies), bassist Richie Mullins, and Third Eye Blind drummer Brad Hargreaves, City of Angels trio Year Long Disaster blasts raunchy Sunset Strip boogie — with a touch of Zeppelinesque bombast — all over their new Black Magic: All Mysteries Revealed.
Roll down the top and blast “Cyclone,” the album’s last track.
If you didn’t pick up the album last night at the Troubadour or haven’t got yet it from us here, it’s now available everywhere in both the U.S. and Europe. Here are a couple of handy links to get it digitally: iTunes and Amazon.

Black Magic; All Mysteries Revealed is now online here at yearlongdisaster.com, where you can stream the entire album as well as purchase it in a variety of formats (all physical formats include an immediate digital download of the album).
This early sale of the album is not attributable to human error, instead it was decided that it would be much more enjoyable for those in attendance at Year Long Disaster’s FREE Record Release show on Monday, to have had time to listen to the new album in advance.
See, on Monday at the FREE Record Release show, Year Long Disaster, will be performing Black Magic; All Mysteries Revealed live in its entirety with an accompanying special top-secret visual element. A unique and probably once in a lifetime event.
